Sr. Diego Mureño's Class

¡Hola! Hello:
I am very excited to be the 5th-Grade Dual Immersion teacher at North Newton. On this page, you will find important information regarding your child's education at North Newton. You can access our classroom "landing page" at .
About me:
I am a product of two Mexican immigrants seeking the "American Dream." I am very proud of my Mexican heritage and culture. My paternal grandmother and maternal grandparents still live in Veracruz, México. We visit often to spend quality time with family. My immediate family lives in Marion, North Carolina, which is nestled in the valley of the Western North Carolina mountains. In my free time, I enjoy going to Newton-Conover CrossFit, running, watching critically-acclaimed movies and television shows, and exploring new places. I am a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hickory.
