We love to go on vacation anywhere. Mrs. Fowler is excited to work with new people. She liked to get to know people and make them laugh. She is a great team player. Since starting at North Newton, she stated “the staff have been so nice and welcoming since I have started working here. The principal has been so nice and helpful also.” It is only fitting that her greatest piece of advice is “Teamwork makes the Dreamwork. When we work together and lift each other up, we can do anything. Nothing is impossible. Always ask people for help if you can help. #nextlevel #NNESBulldogs #groundedandgrowing

I can’t wait to see students shine this year!” When asked what is the greatest piece of advice, she stated some of the greatest advice I have ever received is to "not give up when things get tough. As we welcome back our students, we would like to take a moment to welcome our new staff to the bulldog squad. Today features our new Dual Immersion 3rd Grade teacher, Ms. Kathleen Bravo. Kathleen Bravo is from Barranquilla, Colombia. When asked to tell a little bit about herself she stated “If somebody had asked me 20 years ago what I wanted to be, to be honest, being a teacher was not in the agenda; but you know what? I do not regret having chosen this path at all! My journey in the teaching field started 9 years ago, and so far, it has been an amazing adventure.” She studied Foreign Languages, and had the opportunity to finish her double-master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and Linguistics in 2020. Ms. Brave has worked on a variety of educational levels and she loves the beginning of each school year because “the beginning of a new school year is always a new experience.” What she is most looking forward to is to enjoy the process, learn from her colleagues, learners, and parents, and encourage her students to become the best version of themselves. In fact, it is one of the greatest pieces of advice someone has ever given to her: “we should trust and love the journey, learn, grow, and evolve to approach our essential self. Once we get the most of our strengths, it is easier to help others maximize their personal growth.” Welcome Ms. Bravo!! #nextlevel #NNESBulldogs #groundedandgrowing
